ROMWAL MAID IN WALES, Kizzy co-owned by Miss Kelly Lawless of Revloch famous kennels. Kizzy at only 9 months has THREE GREEN STARS and TWO RESERVE GREEN STARS as well as numerous Best of Breeds and Best Puppy. She has GROUP Placings and at 8 months qualified for THE PUP OF THE YEAR as well as Best puppy in show ! She has also won Best Puppy Bitch at Darlington and Reserve Best Bitch recently under Richard Haynes. Kizzy was runner up at the IRISH PUP OF THE YEAR for 2008 Finals

Judge Mrs Anita Jones (Carlita) Betalex Action Hero Bullmastiff (Caleb) BIS 15mnth.  Barons Patrol of Bodrhonyn, Newfoundland (Cemlyn) RBIS 12mnths old, owned by Mr & Mrs Hughes, handled by Darryl Hughes receiving his 2nd RBIS two weeks running after he took RBIS North Wales Show, Caernarfon under Mrs N Naylor. Having also done well in Anglesey show at 10 mnths old taking 1st AVNSC Working Puppy, Best Puppy AVNSC Working and Working Puppy Group 2 at only his 2nd ever show.

Betalex Action Hero (Caleb) - 13 months old Bullmastiff won 1st AV Junior then Reserve Best in Show under judge Edith Miller at the All Breeds Companion Show held at Llys Derwen Caravan Park, Llanrug on 7th June 2008. He was shown by Glenys Johnson for owner, Mr Trevor Williams. The show was the 10th annual show in aid of Bernese Welfare UK.

Georgia Faye Neil-Jones aged 9yrs and Dion Llyr Hughes aged 13yrs (First cousins) who both qualified for J H A Semi Finals at Richmond in September at Ruthin Canine Society Open show on 19th July. Georgia handling her puppy Romwal Welsh Warrior (Magnus) and Dion handling Romwal Talk of the Town (Buster). They are both doing really well and everyone is proud of them, Good luck in September!

What a great weekend it was for Bodrhonyn Newfoundlands as they retain a title and do the Double! Johbai Looby Lou at Bodrhonyn(Tyner) won Best in Show at Rotary Club of Bangor Country Fayre in 2007 under judge David Griffiths (DAVIK). This year Barons Patrol of Bodrhonyn (Cemlyn) was judged Best in Show by Mrs E Randall on Sunday 3rd August  .Johbai Looby Lou at Bodrhonyn was judged best Best in Show the day before Saturday 2nd at Llannerch-y-medd Show by Mr Bill Roberts. They are pictured here Cemlyn with Darryl Hughes and Tyner with his son, who also handles, Dion Hughes.

Bullmastiff dog Betalex Action Hero (Caleb) owned by Mr Trevor Williams, won Working Group 3 at age 16 months at the Darlington Championship Show on 13th Sept 2008. The group judge was Mr Hans Van der Berg of Holland. He was handled by Glenys Johnson. CC at LKA Champ Show. He then went on to win Best of Breed and then Working Group 2 under judge, Mr T Nethercott.  At the European Dog Winners International Show in Dublin on 31st May 2009, Caleb gained a Green Star, CACIB and Best of Breed against many international champions.

Georgia Neil Jones, age 9 with her own ROMWAL WELSH WARRIOR taken when they won the best junior handler at North Wales Toy Dog, judge Ms Lisa Welch.They also won a big A.V.Puppy stakes class.

'TEAM HUGION' This dynamic team of Dion Hughes and Ir Ch Vanistica Who's Who, are already receiving great honours, even though they've only been a team for 8 weeks! Dion & his new dog Hugo did brilliantly at Rhyl Canine Society's Open Show on 9th November. They placed 1st in AVNSC Pastoral Open, then whent on to win Best of Breed and then to top it all, Group 3 Pastoral, under judge Mr Ken Warrington (Piplaurie). Well Done Both of You!  We're all so Proud.

Two puppies making their debut at the St Patricks Day show in Ireland are ROMWAL MISS STARLIGHT - Khayla (above left) owned by Mrs Romayne Freer of Romwal Australian Silky Terriers. She has already been to a Limited Show in Ireland (where they are in the terrier group) and went into A.V.Terrier against 19 other terriers and got 1ST!! at the age of six months and one week. and her litter brother ROMWAL RHAPSODY IN BLUE - Axel owned by Mrs Hilda Carolan - Dublin

ROMWAL MAID IN WALES Junior Champion -- KIZZY is the holder of inumerable Green Stars, Reserve Green Stars, Best of Breeds, Best Puppy in Breed and group placings. She is also a qualifier for IRISH PUP OF THE YEAR in April. She only needs to gain one more green star (after she is fifteen months old) to give her full title. Kizzy has also been shown in GB and was Reserve Best Bitch at Darlington Championship show.  Kizzy is co-owned by Romayne Freer and Kelly Lawless Revloch

Bosley,Bernegardens Ocean Breeze over Wyandra (imp Norway) winning the Limit Dog class at Crufts 2009 handled by his breeder, Britt Halvorsen who was over for the show..William,Ch Barandi Spymaster was 2nd in Veteran Dog, bred by Diane Deuchar Fawcett and Miss Barbara Swaine-Williams and another dog co-owned by them was 2nd in Postgraduate Dog, Barandi Grand Central.

A good day at Crufts for the Romwal Australian Silky Terriers with Romwal Blaze of Glory and Hyspeed Top Teelah at Romwal winning first places in their classes, both handled by Ellie (pictured) aged 9 (Romayne Freer's grandaughter). At Caernarfon Show 23 February 2008 Shan Jacques got Best of Breed with her American Cocker Spaniel Afterglow Baby Face Nelson and then went on to Reserve Best in Show. Glenys Johnson and Mr T Williams were awarded reserve Best Puppy in Show with their Mastiff puppy Betalex Action Hero. Mrs Marjorie Griffiths won Best of Breed and AVNSC Toy Open with her Chihuahua Holansica Olivia and Debbie Burns won Papillion Best of Breed with Peticiens Tri'lemma Latte.

Congratulations to 4 year old Teigan Harp who won the first Junior Handling class and 11 year old Alys O'Brien who won the 11 - 16 year old class at Llandudno show recently.

Bernegarden's Ocean Breeze over Wyandra (Imp Norway) - CC at his 1st Ch show @14 months at National Working and Pastoral breeds ch Show at Malvern under Breed specialist Ms.Lorna Lyons.He has since won BOB and Group 4 at Ruthin under Jeff Horswell, BOB Anglesey under Lewis Mcdonald, Best AVNSC Working at the recent Caernarfon Open show under Joe Chorley and been placed in the first three in his breed at all Ch shows attended. He was placed 5th ex 48 in the junior stakes at City of Birminghan Ch Show.under Ken Sinclair. Also William, unbeaten in ch. Veteran classes so far this year. He is CH Barandi Spymaster owned and bred by Diane Deuchar Fawcett and Barbara Swaine -Williams. Another male bred by us Int.Ch Barandi Just Toto is winning all before him in Europe, owned by Britt Halvorsen, who bred Bosley and our own 9 year old Jacci, Ch and Norwegian Ch Bernegarden's Jacona with Barandi.

At Caernarfon and DCS on 3 November 2007, Rachel Walker's Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla, Bayside Brokk of Lanokk, went Best NSC Gundog under Tom Graham, then went on to take Best In Show under Roy Baker. The following weekend at Rhyl CS, under Mrs H Leary, Brokk went Best NSC Gundog and Gundog Group 3. Brokk has had the most fantastic year, having been awarded Best of Breed at championship shows six times. He is the current leading Pedigree/Dog World Top Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla (confirmed December 2007). At Gundog Club of North Wales on 25 November 2007, Brokk went Best AVNSC Gundog, then went on to take Best in Show 3 under Mr P Young. Brokk and his daughter, Leiborschy Lana of Lanokk, were also awarded Best Brace. At Crufts 2008 Brokk was awarded Reserve Best Dog. www.lanokk.co.uk

Emma - shown here at six months Emma is a sweetie with nice conformation and lovely temperament, she has started her show career with some nice results - so far winning 3 Best Puppy of Breed, 1 Best of Breed Papillon, and one Group 1 Puppy win, along with several firsts and other placings. She has achieved: UK Toydog Championship Show (29/03/08). Emma showed her socks off today - beating 47 other Papillon puppies to be awarded "Best Papillon Puppy" at this super show - under breed specialist Judge Kitty Sjong of Denmark. 1st Papillon Minor Puppy Bitch, Best Papillon Puppy, Caernarfon and District Canine Society Open Show (25/02/08). A super day - Emma showed very well - not only winning her Graduate Class but also getting Best Of Breed. 1st Papillon Graduate, Best Papillon Puppy, Best of Breed Papillon, North Wales Toydog Society Open Show (17/02/08) Both Emma and Fifi had a wonderful day today - picking up top Papillon honours between them.Emma was the baby in her class (by over six months) and won her Papillon Junior Class. She then automatically became Best Puppy in Breed. For seven months old she did us very proud and is showing great promise. 1st Papillon Junior, Best Puppy of Breed. Pontefract & District Canine Society Open Show (03/02/08) A super day!. 1st Papillon Puppy, Best Puppy In Breed, Group 1 Puppy (Best toy puppy) Llandudno Canine Society Open Show (27/01/08) A super show with a very strong class of older puppies. 1st AV Toy Puppy (class of 5) Manchester Championship Show (18/01/08) A super show with strong competition (and a very noisy show hall), Emma again trotted into the ring and behaved impeccably - and gained a very respectable 4th in a class of 13. Reserve Minor Puppy Bitch(class of 13) Clitheroe and District Open Show (13/01/08) At her first show Emma gained a respectable 2nd in AV Toy Puppy 2nd AV Toy Puppy   "Petitchien's Fifilamour"- aka Fifi ........... Placed at Crufts 2008 & 2009 Qualified ........... Fifi is only just out of puppy, and has done very well so far - she was well placed at Crufts 2008 - so is automatically qualified for Crufts 2009. In addition to this she has gained two Reserve Best Puppy in Shows, one group 2 puppy win, 5 Best Puppy of Breed, 5 Best Of Breed, 12 firsts, and numerous other placings. Fifi at 11 months she has achieved: UK Toydog Championship Show (29/03/08). Fifi was a bit of a "livewire" today - but nonetheless was well placed in a class of 13 at this super show - under breed specialist Judge Kitty Sjong of Denmark. This is her second show in three weeks that qualifies her for Crufts 2009. With thanks (again) to my friend Caroline for showing her for me. 3rd Papillon Junior Bitch, Crufts - Judge: Gordon Urquhart (06/03/08). WOW - the girl did good! Fifi came third in her class at Crufts - which has automatically qualified her for Crufts 2009. I could not get there, so a million thanks are due to my friends - Romayne who took her there and to Caroline who showed her so brilliantly for me. 3rd Papillon Special Junior Bitch (class of 14), Caernarfon and District Canine Society Open Show (25/02/08). A super day - Fifi showed well and won her class. Her sister Emma (see below) did very well too. 1st Papillon Open, North Wales Toydog Society Open Show (17/02/08) A superb day out at a great show - with a good turn out of quality showdogs. Fifi excelled as the baby in a class of five and got first place. She then went on to take the Best of Breed, and was shortlisted in the final 5 for best in Show. Emma was there too, and also took top Papillon honours - see below. 1st Papillon Post Graduate, Best of Breed, Shortlisted to final five for Best in Show. Pontefract & District Canine Society Open Show (03/02/08) A nice day out, beaten to first place by a super successful dog - but coming a respectable second. Emma meanwhile got a first, Best Puppy, and Puppy Group 1, see below. 2nd Papillon Junior Manchester Championship Show (18/01/08) A super show with strong competition - Fifi gained a 4th today. Reserve Junior Bitch (class of 7) Darwen Canine Society Open Show (15/12/07) A super Show with strong competition, Fifi came second to her handsome brother Trix today (see below) 2nd Post Graduate (class of 7), 2nd Open (class of 7), Spire Toy Dog Society Open Show (25/11/07) Wow, what a brilliant day - with strong competition in all four classes Fifi came through - whilst still a Puppy and won Best of Breed. 1st Puppy (class of 2), 1st Junior (class of 3), 1st Post Graduate (class of 7), 1st Open (class of 5), Best Papillon Puppy, Best of Breed Papillon (Judge Averil Cawthera-Purdy - Livera) This win, as it was at a Premier Open Show, automatically qualifies her for Crufts for a third time. Northern & Eastern Counties Papillon Club Championship Show (11/11/07) 2nd Bitch Puppy - which qualifies her for Crufts for a second time (class of 10, Judge Mr A Bendelow) P (10) Another top quality class. r/w, in good coat and condition with good fringes, good head qualities with all essentials & balance, good body shape with co-ordinated balance, bone and muscle sound and firm. Caernarfon and District Canine Society Open Show (3/11/07). This was one of Fifi's nicest days out so far - at 11 months old she was pulled out as one of the final five for BIS - and went on to win RBPIS 1st Papillon Post Graduate (class of 3), 1st Papillon Open (class of 4) Best Papillon Puppy, Best of Breed Papillon, " 11 months, red sable and white, correct size in super condition, correct angulation with level topline.
